As our Founding Engineer, you won’t just be writing code — you’ll be architecting the backbone of a global healthcare platform. You’ll have a massive stake in the product direction, the culture, and the technical legacy of Taxo.
What they're looking for
- • The Veteran: 5+ years of experience building production software, with a demonstrated track record of impact at a top-tier tech company or high-growth startup. You’ve lived through the chaos and you thrive in it
- • The Architect: You’ve built at scale before. You understand the nuances of serving large enterprise clients and high-volume end-user bases. You can design, build, and scale production-grade distributed systems
- • The AI Enthusiast: You stay current with AI/ML developments and are excited to implement them in practical, high-impact ways. Experience with voice, NLP, conversational AI, or real-time audio/speech systems is a major plus
- • The Owner: You are opinionated about code quality and user experience. You don’t need a roadmap — you help draw it. Comfortable with rapid iteration, experimentation, and learning from failure
- • Bonus: Experience with telephony systems (SIP/VoIP), healthcare data standards (HL7/FHIR), or HIPAA-compliant infrastructure
