- Holds a security clearance or can obtain DoD security clearance
- B.S., M.S., or M.ENG. in Systems Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of professional Systems/Test/Reliability/Quality Engineering experience (or similar), preferably in robotics, ocean technology or ruggedized field systems
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both within a team and across teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Design, Maintain, and Improve Systems
- Track system statuses over the full product lifecycle.
- Manage system upgrades, updates, and patching.
- Monitor system performance and reliability and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Actively participate in prototyping, troubleshooting, and testing, while providing hands-on support.
- Assist in the development of early-stage systems by helping establish design constraints/objectives, test events, and acceptance criteria.
Documentation
- Review Contracts & translate customer needs into engineering system requirements.
- Develop acceptance test procedures for internal verification & contractual requirements validation.
- Document systems, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Improve system organization, documentation, and revision control.
