About the role
As the first hire System Administrator in Nashville you will be responsible for everything from system deployment to troubleshooting (often inside the tunnel), workstation, VOIP, network and helpdesk/end-user support in a rapidly advancing site environment. This position provides an opportunity for a motivated individual to expand their skill set while being introduced to the entire IT service and support stack.

- Bachelor’s or equivalent work experience
- 5+ yrs experience in Systems Administration / similar roles
- Proven experience in site-based work (I.e. in the field, troubleshooting on the ground)
- Ability to work long hours and weekends as necessary
- Willingness to learn new skills and grow into greater responsibility
- OK with confined spaces (occasionally entering the tunnels)

- Design, deploy and manage construction and tunnel network, server, and end-user equipment.
- Discover end-user needs, implement innovative solutions, and adapt as requirements evolve.
- Provide end-user support for O365, Gsuite, VMS, Windows, Ubuntu, printers, network appliances.
- Manage device inventory and provisioning for new users.
- Physically deploy and maintain network gear in tunnels + surface sites.
