About the role
As a Strategy & Operations hire reporting to the Strategy & Operations Lead, you'll partner on Traversal's highest-priority cross-functional initiatives - from pricing and packaging to getting complex deals across the finish line to making sure we're executing against our annual operating plan. This is a generalist seat, not a narrow lane: you'll be handed ambiguous, high-stakes problems, expected to scope them, build the analysis, and drive them to execution end-to-end.
What they're looking for
- 4-6 years of experience, ideally 2-3 years in management consulting, investment banking, or private equity, followed by 1-2 years in an operating role at an early-stage startup
- Track record of owning ambiguous, cross-functional projects end-to-end with minimal oversight
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, comfortable building structured frameworks from scratch
- Excellent written and verbal communication - able to synthesize complex problems into clear recommendations for executives
- High ownership mentality - bias toward action, comfortable operating with limited process or precedent
- Generalist mindset: excited to work across pricing, deals, planning, and whatever the business needs next, rather than staying in one functional lane
