About the role
Turion Space is seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to join our platform engineering team. This role requires advanced expertise in CI/CD practices, cloud services (particularly AWS), containerization, and infrastructure as code. While our current infrastructure primarily uses AWS, we're building our platform and products with infrastructure agnosticism in mind - whether cloud or on-premises.
What they're looking for
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Personnel Security Clearance (PCL)
- 8+ years of experience in software development, DevOps, or platform engineering
- Proven track record of implementing large-scale platforms and infrastructure
- Expert-level knowledge of CI/CD concepts and extensive experience with industry-standard tools
- Deep expertise with AWS services and architectures, particularly around containerization and orchestration
- Advanced proficiency in infrastructure as code tools, especially AWS CDK
