Drive national grassroots advocacy campaigns: Partner with the head of grassroots and community to develop and execute digital and in-person grassroots campaigns that activate and educate Turo community members regarding peer-to-peer car sharing policy initiatives that will impact them.

We believe that real stories from real people move lawmakers more than anything else. The Grassroots & Community Relations Manager will help bring those stories to life, help build relationships in the communities where Turo operates, and activate Turo's community of hosts and guests as advocates for peer-to-peer car sharing policy across the country. This role sits at the intersection of grassroots advocacy, community partnership, and policy communications — and it requires someone who is equally comfortable executing a digital advocacy campaign and building a relationship with a local community organization. You are a strong writer who can translate complex policy issues into clear, human language. You have good instincts, sound judgment, and the ability to move fast without cutting corners.
