About the role
As Chief of Staff to the Chief Accounting Officer (CAO), you will be the CAO's strategic and operational right hand across a $300M+ revenue, 700-person company operating in the US, Canada, the Netherlands and Pakistan. The CAO's organization spans finance, accounting, HR, legal, compliance and operations. You will own two things outright: Company-wide budgeting. Build, run and continuously improve the annual budget and monthly budget-vs-actual process for every department in the company, across all entities.
What they're looking for
- 5 to 8 years of experience in finance, consulting, investment banking, private equity, or a rigorous strategy or operations role at a high-growth company
- Degree from a top-tier university. MBA welcome but not required
- Has personally owned a budget and a budget-vs-actual cycle, and can walk through the reasoning behind the numbers
- Has personally run at least one of: an audit, a compliance program, an insurance renewal, or a risk assessment
- Exposure to multi-entity or multi-country operations is a strong plus. Telecom, fintech or other regulated industry experience is a plus, not a requirement
- No CPA or CA required. We are hiring for sharpness, energy and ownership, not credentials
