About the role
Vast is looking for a Software Engineer II, Enterprise Applications, reporting to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Applications , to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations. As a software engineer on our growing team, you’ll have an opportunity to learn and grow under the mentorship of seasoned engineers from aerospace and big tech, building powerful software that helps expand humanity into space.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, an engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of software development or relevant industry experience
- Experience designing, building, shipping, and supporting software applications or features in a production environment
- Experience contributing to full-stack applications, including frontend and/or backend development
- Familiarity with software development best practices, including testing, version control, code review, and debugging
