About the role
Vast is looking for a Technical Project Manager , Software reporting to the Manager, Technical Projects, to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations. This person will lead the cross-functional development and execution of the systems that will be required for the development of Haven-1 and future products.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical, aerospace, or related engineering fields
- Preferred: Master’s Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical, aerospace, or related engineering fields
- 1+ years of cross functional technical leadership (i.e. project engineering, product management, systems engineering, or engineering management)
- Demonstrated successful contributions to end-to-end product lifecycle management
- Experience with project management and reporting tools (i.e., MS Project, SmartSheet, JIRA, Confluence)
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
