About the role
This position involves access to technology that is subject to U.S. export controls. Any job offer made will be contingent upon the applicant’s capacity to serve in compliance with U.S. export controls. To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be able to meet ITAR requirements (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of engineering experience with at least 5 years supporting engine testing or complex mechanical test systems
- Experience designing, operating, and troubleshooting high-pressure fluid systems, instrumentation, data acquisition (DAQ) systems, and automated test systems
- Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively partner across engineering, manufacturing, operations, propulsion and other multidisciplinary teams
- Work outdoors in varying weather in required PPE
