About the role
Most AI products in healthcare are built by engineers guessing what clinicians need, or by clinicians advising from the sidelines. We want someone who lives in both worlds. You'll own clinical product areas end-to-end: talking to clinicians, figuring out what they actually need, building it, shipping it, and iterating on it in production. Your clinical background shapes what gets built, how it gets evaluated, and whether it performs safely when it matters.
What they're looking for
- Formal medical training (MD, DO, or international equivalent) and real clinical experience
- Comfortable building with code: fullstack experience and hands-on work with LLMs
- High agency: you see a problem, talk to a user, and fix it without waiting for a spec
- User-obsessed: you talk to clinicians, not about them, and you know what it means to get a clinical decision wrong
- Honest: you say what you think, flag what's broken, and care more about getting it right than being right
