Improve patient outcomes with evidence-based answers from 60M+ peer-reviewed medical papers. Built by clinicians and AI researchers. Backed by Y Combinator.
About the role
Partnerships are at the core of what Vera is building. The organizations we partner with, whether medical societies, clinical publishers, or digital health platforms, represent where clinicians already go to learn, stay current, and get their work done. A partnership with the right organization means distribution, credibility, and a direct line to the feedback that improves the product. We've already closed deals with some of the most important names in the space, and we're just getting started.
What they're looking for
- 2-5 years in sales, business development, or partnerships at a fast-moving startup (healthcare is a plus)
- Deeply social: you build trust quickly, hold your own in a room with senior executives, and make people want to work with you
- Creative deal-maker: you don't follow a script, you figure out what the other side needs and build around it
- Organized enough to keep 15+ conversations moving in parallel without dropping anything
- Fast learner on healthcare: you don't need to be clinical, but you need to get the world of medical societies, conferences, and publishers quickly and not sound out of place in it
- High agency: you see an opportunity, you move
More about this role
Vera is the fastest-growing clinical app for healthcare professionals in the world. Five people built it.
We’re already operating at a scale most teams never reach, with a team most people would think is too small to pull it off. That’s by design. Everyone here runs at a level that compresses what would normally take entire teams. We keep it that way by only hiring people who raise the standard the moment they join.
We’re building the founding team. The people who join now will define how this company operates for the next decade, and shape the future of healthcare.
