About the role
We're looking for a Director of Payor Growth to join our growing team within Verse. We’ve established our business with a strong footprint in the Provider vertical. Now we are excited to be further expanding by deepening our Health Plan business, building our team under this vertical with a new approach to home medical supplies and healthcare at home. This role is solely focused on strategic initiatives with health plans and broader payor organizations. Found on 1752vc Careers, the job board for startup and VC roles.
What they're looking for
- 10+ years selling in healthcare, including 5+ years selling to health plans, with a consistent track record of exceeding targets
- Experience sourcing and closing enterprise health plan contracts, managing the sales cycle across multiple executive stakeholders
- A demonstrated ability to ramp up quickly on complex financial and regulatory domains within healthcare , to build deep fluency in Verse's product, operations, and customer value proposition
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to consistently deliver zero-defect work, and experience with CRM tools and other sales and marketing technology is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication, and a track record of leading others by setting high standards, understanding their motivations, and communicating empathetically
- Willingness to work extended hours when required
