About the role

The General Ledger (GL) Accountant is responsible for overseeing the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of the company’s general ledger and financial reporting processes. This role supports and executes month-end and year-end close, account reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and compliance with U.S. GAAP (and IFRS where applicable).

  • A minimum of 4–5+ years of progressive accounting
  • Experience managing full-cycle month-end closing
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP, financial regulations, and best practices in financial management
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
  • Proficiency in financial software like SAP and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

The General Ledger (GL) Accountant is responsible for overseeing the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of the company’s general ledger and financial reporting processes. This role supports and executes month-end and year-end close, account reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and compliance with U.S. GAAP (and IFRS where applicable).

The GL Accountant plays a key role in strengthening internal controls, supporting audits, and ensuring financial accuracy across domestic and international entities. This position will be critical in supporting scalable financial infrastructure as the organization prepares for continued growth and potential IPO readiness.

  • Own and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Ensure timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
  • Manage intercompany accounting and eliminations.
  • Maintain chart of accounts integrity and consistency across entities.
  • Manage fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and capitalized projects.
  • Own and execute treasury, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions.
