A Japan/Asia-focused Venture Capital fund in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Director to play a key role in shaping and growing their corporate venture capital (CVC) practice. We are open to candidates with backgrounds in corporate venture investing, strategy consulting, corporate development, or operations who can bring a blend of strategic thinking, executional ability, and cross-border experience.
Fluency in Japanese is required and this position involves travel to Japan few times a year.
- Shape Strategy : Contribute to the development of our CVC strategy, investment theses, and new business initiatives with our corporate partners.
- Build Ecosystems : Support partnerships between startups, portfolio companies, and our Japanese corporate LPs; foster cross-border collaboration and innovation.
