About the role
As the Manager of Factory Integration Engineering, you will lead a high-performing, specialized engineering team responsible for guiding the intentional and efficient factory design of Vulcanforms’ production sites. Integrating digital and physical architecture in the most efficient manner and ensuring they are setup for future scaling and capacity in line with the company goals.
What they're looking for
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering, strategic planning, or industrial systems development within a high-stakes, high-precision production environment
- Proven experience successfully leading complex engineering projects, defining functional requirements, or directly managing engineering personnel
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Robotics Engineering, or a related technical field
- Expert-level knowledge of automation, discrete event simulation, python scripting, material flow planning, 2D and 3D factory CAD systems

Moving beyond traditional individual contribution, you will act as a critical player-coach, driving the development and deployment of production-ready systems that support our "lights-out" manufacturing strategies and 24/7 factory scalability.
Success in this position means successfully guiding engineers through complex technical challenges, fostering their career growth, and acting as a key partner to company executives and cross-functional teams to turn ambitious automation concepts into seamless factory realities.
