About the role
The Manager, Global Logistics & Trade Compliance owns VulcanForms' end-to-end logistics and trade compliance function. This includes inbound and outbound freight, customs brokerage, carrier contract management, 3PL and warehousing relationships, hazardous materials handling (including titanium powder), demurrage management, and the full trade compliance program — USTR filings, tariff strategy, ITAR/DFARS, and country-of-origin documentation.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree required, degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or a related field preferred
- 10+ years of progressive logistics and/or trade compliance experience
- Demonstrated experience building or leading a logistics function with significant freight spend responsibility ($50M+ preferred)
- Deep expertise in U.S. export regulations including ITAR and EAR, customs compliance, and international trade requirements
- Proven track record managing TMS implementations, carrier contract negotiations, and 3PL performance programs
- Experience with hazardous materials logistics, including DOT, IATA, and IMDG regulatory frameworks

The Manager, Global Logistics & Trade Compliance owns VulcanForms' end-to-end logistics and trade compliance function. This includes inbound and outbound freight, customs brokerage, carrier contract management, 3PL and warehousing relationships, hazardous materials handling (including titanium powder), demurrage management, and the full trade compliance program — USTR filings, tariff strategy, ITAR/DFARS, and country-of-origin documentation. Reporting to the VP of Supply Chain and operating as a peer to the Global Category Managers, this leader builds and manages an initial team of a Trade Compliance Specialist and Import/Export Coordinator, and scales the function as VulcanForms grows.
- Own and continuously develop VulcanForms' global logistics strategy, including carrier relationships, inbound freight programs, outbound shipping to customers, and 3PL/warehousing partnerships.
- Lead all freight contract negotiations — parcel, LTL, FTL, air freight, and ocean — to deliver competitive rates, capacity assurance, and service-level performance.
