- Assign daily tasks and set clear objectives for team members at the beginning of each shift to direct production flow
- Monitor production metrics such as output, downtime, and waste, and create reports on team performance
- Provide training and coaching to new and existing employees on machine operation, safety protocols, and quality standards
- Conduct initial troubleshooting of equipment malfunctions and escalate complex technical problems to the maintenance department
- Lead daily team meetings to communicate production targets, safety alerts, and any changes in procedure
- Enforce all health and safety regulations on the production floor to maintain a safe working environment
