About the role
We’re hiring a User Growth Regional Lead — a key role driving Wave’s expansion on the ground. You’ll lead and energize distribution activities across your region, with a clear mission: grow and retain our user base. You’ll design and execute strategies to boost active usage across money transfers and bill payments, ensuring Wave becomes the go-to wallet for our users. What they're looking for
- Fluent in English, Krio and in any additional local language
- Previous experience in sales/business development/team management
- 4+ years of relevant work experience, specifically managing field teams or user acquisition teams based in the field
- 2+ years of experience designing strategies for user acquisition for a telecom, payment service provider, FMCG, or financial institution
- 2+ years’ experience managing large teams (50+ people)
- Have successfully planned and managed customer acquisition strategies for mobile/financial, or FMCG products before
