About the role
The Demo Environment Operations Manager is a hybrid leadership role designed to lead projects and initiatives and drive operational efficiency in the Wiz Demonstration Environment. Functioning as a true working manager, this individual balances people management and strategic project delivery with hands-on engineering duties.
What they're looking for
- 3 years of experience leading technical teams or managing technical operations, ideally within Sales Engineering, Technical Support, or DevOps environments
- 5 years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), API integrations, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and modern web stacks
- Experience with scripting (Python, Bash, JavaScript) for environment setup and automated testing
- Experience leading cross-functional delivery teams for corporate events, product launches, or software releases
- Proven ability to balance leadership/administrative duties with hands-on technical contribution as a working manager without losing momentum on either front
- Advanced experience managing, configuring, and optimizing workflows in Jira / Jira Service Management
