About the role
As Architect for the Data Centers & Workplace, you will lead the strategic planning, design, and execution of facilities and infrastructure solutions for SpaceXSI's data centers and site builds. Drawing on expertise in complex, multi-stakeholder projects, you'll collaborate across engineering, procurement, construction, and business teams to deliver integrated, compliant designs that align with aggressive timelines and innovation goals. What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture (5-year professional program preferred) from an accredited institution
- Active Architectural licensure in at least one U.S. state (CA or NY licensure highly transferable), NCARB certification strongly preferred
- LEED AP certification or equivalent in sustainable design
- 15+ years of progressive experience in architectural design and project management, with direct hands-on involvement in data center development, site construction, and workplace planning in high-tech environments
- Proven track record leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects in fast-scaling organizations (e.g., automotive, tech, or AI infrastructure)
