We are looking for a Director of Strategic Investment to lead high-impact deals, drive strategic investment initiatives, and partner with senior leadership to define and execute YZi Labs’ investment strategy.
What they're looking for
- 5–10+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or M&A advisory , with a strong track record of deal execution
- Experience in tech, AI, or frontier technology sectors is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and structuring complex deals
- Ability to identify, evaluate, and execute strategic investment opportunities
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, open, and dynamic environment

This is a high-visibility role for someone with strong investment banking experience , a deep understanding of financial modeling and deal execution, and the ability to bridge strategy and execution across complex investment opportunities.
- Lead strategic investment initiatives across emerging technologies and high-growth startups.
- Originate, evaluate, and structure deals with corporates, venture partners, and startups globally.
- Conduct deep financial, commercial, and market diligence to assess potential investments.
- Build financial models, valuation frameworks, and investment memos for executive review.
- Partner with portfolio companies and founders to support growth, M&A, and strategic partnerships .
