What they're looking for
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in systems engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related STEM field from an accredited college/university
- 4–7 years of experience in modeling, simulation, control systems, or estimation algorithm development in the aerospace or defense industries
- Strong background in dynamic system modeling, control system design, and simulation infrastructure
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or equivalent modeling and control toolchains
- Understanding of classical control techniques and competency in verification and validation of models and their use within system architectures
- Demonstrated ability to apply physics-based modeling and multi-domain simulation development, including propulsion system modeling and data analysis for model validation
