About the role
Our team owns global compensation accounting for Airbnb, covering payroll, equity, and benefits across all regions. We partner closely with teams including Benefits, Payroll Operations, Equity Administration, Talent, the Compensation Team, Financial Reporting, and Technical Accounting to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. We operate in a fast-paced environment supporting an accelerated close schedule, requiring strong collaboration and attention to detail.
What they're looking for
- Support global Payroll Operations, Equity Administration, and Benefits teams with accounting knowledge
- Support management in completing special projects, ad-hoc reporting and other tasks as assigned
- Collaborate with all parts of Finance, Legal & Talent to ensure accurate financial statements
- Ensure SOX compliance with key controls & accurate GAAP reporting and fulfilling internal and external reporting requirements
- Support transitions and knowledge transfer, monitoring critical deliverables
- Leverage AI, technology, and expertise to streamline accounting processes
