About the role
Allegro MicroSystems (ALGM) is seeking a highly technical and customer-facing engineer to drive product definition, system-level problem solving, and global business development for our fast-growing Magnetic Current Sensing portfolio.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
- 2 to 6 years of experience in systems engineering, applications engineering, or technical product marketing within the semiconductor or electronics industries
- Hands-on technical understanding of power and control systems, specifically in high-voltage power conversion, motor drives, or magnetic sensors
- A strong desire to blend technical engineering expertise with product strategy and customer-facing business development
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently present complex technical concepts to both engineering teams and customer executives
- Highly organized, proactive, and self-motivated mindset with a proven ability to drive cross-functional projects to closure
