- Expert-level proficiency in Python and modern software development frameworks ( FastAPI , Pydantic , SQLModel , PyTorch , or similar)
- Experience developing software for medical devices, diagnostic instruments, laboratory equipment, healthcare technologies, scientific instrumentation, or other mission-critical systems
- Experience developing and maintaining production software across Linux-based embedded devices, Windows, and macOS environments
- Strong understanding of hardware/software integration, instrument control, device communications, and sensor-driven systems
- Implementation of LIS/LIMS, EHR/EMR, VNA/PACS integrations with systems like Epic Beaker, Mirth, Oracle Cerner
