About the role
Apex is looking for an Engineering Configuration & Change Manager to own the integrity and evolution of our product designs and operational systems. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, operations, and production- acting as the control layer that ensures every change is tracked, assessed, and executed without breaking what's already working. You'll govern how we manage BOMs, implement design changes, and coordinate high-stakes operational updates across satellites, ground systems, and infrastructure. What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, or related technical field
- 7+ years of experience in configuration management, change management, or engineering operations
- Hands-on experience with PLM systems (Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia, or equivalent)
- Experience managing engineering changes (ECR/ECO) through full release and production cycles
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional boards and drive accountability across teams
- Strong risk assessment and impact analysis skills for hardware, software, and infrastructure changes
