About the role
Apex is seeking a dynamic, organized, and driven Mission Manager to join our expanding team. As a company at the forefront of space exploration and satellite technology, Apex is looking for an individual capable of managing complex projects and serving as the primary liaison between our customers and the various teams within our organization. The Mission Manager is responsible for guiding customers through the satellite bus development process, serving as the primary point of contact.
What they're looking for
- U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in technical project management, preferably in the space aerospace, or defense industry
- Demonstrable experience in managing complex technical projects with tight timelines
- Strong understanding of satellite technology, systems, and the space industry's current trends
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into understandable terms
