About the role
We are looking for an experienced Product Counsel to join our legal team. This is a uniquely strategic role with a mix of both internal and external-facing responsibilities in an area of increasing importance for Applied Intuition. In short, this role will make an impact. You will report to our General Counsel and primarily support Product, Engineering, and Marketing to provide strategic legal guidance on a wide range of issues, including integrations, privacy, copyright, accessibility, and emerging technologies. - Experience working with internal engineering, product, design, security, privacy, and marketing teams throughout the product development life cycle, advising on regulatory requirements and how to mitigate risks for new technologies
- Experience counseling business partners on domestic and international laws, regulations, and best practices for implementing and ensuring ongoing compliance
- Demeanor to thrive in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling priorities, and adhering to strict deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to advance large, complex projects
- 8+ years' of law firm and/or in-house experience, preferably in technology companies, with the activities described above
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school and active membership in one state bar
