About the role
As a Sales Engineer, you're the technical force behind our customer-facing motion. You'll partner with Account Executives to win complex enterprise deals, lead deep technical discovery, and demonstrate how Artemis solves real security problems for SOC analysts, security engineers, and CISOs. You'll architect proofs-of-value, navigate procurement and security reviews, and serve as the trusted technical advisor from first call through close. What they're looking for
- 5+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architects, or similar pre-sales technical role in B2B cybersecurity
- Comfortable leading technical conversations with security practitioners, security architects, and CISOs across complex sales cycles
- Strong understanding of modern security architecture: identity, endpoint, network, and cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong knowledge of SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, and common log sources (CloudTrail, Okta, endpoint telemetry, etc.)
- Familiarity with detection frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK) and threat modeling
- Comfort with APIs, scripting (Python, Bash), and query languages (KQL, SPL, SQL)
