About the role
Insurance Strategy & Program Management: Lead the comprehensive life cycle of corporate insurance placements (e.g., General Liability, Property, Auto, Workers' Compensation, and D&O), including strategy development, broker management, and premium negotiation. Quantitative Risk Modeling: Oversee the development and validation of sophisticated risk models—including exposure analysis, catastrophe modeling, and loss data statistics—to drive data-backed decisions on risk retention and transfer.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business, or a related quantitative field
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in corporate risk management, insurance brokerage, or underwriting
- Advanced mastery of insurance principles, complex policy language, and alternative risk financing structures (e.g., captives or large deductible programs)
- Expert proficiency in Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS) and advanced data visualization tools. Demonstrable ability to create and interpret complex financial models
- Strong track record of successfully negotiating with major global insurers and communicating high-level risk concepts to executive stakeholders
- Knowledge of Python, SQL, or AI-powered analytical platforms
