What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in fund accounting, with a strong understanding of various investment vehicles (e.g., hedge funds, private equity, mutual funds)
- Proven knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in fund accounting software (e.g., Advent Geneva, Sungard Investran, SS&C HiPortfolio) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
