About the role
The Senior Substation Engineer is responsible for the performance, reliability, and lifecycle management of medium- and high-voltage electrical systems across the operating fleet, including substations, power transformers, protection and control systems, switchgear, and related MV/HV equipment. - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering strongly preferred)
- 7+ years of experience with substations, MV/HV systems, power system operations, or related electrical infrastructure
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting, commissioning, testing, or maintaining substation equipment
- Experience with protection and control systems, relay analysis, coordination, or related functions
- Strong understanding of power transformers, breakers, switchgear, and MV/HV equipment
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
