About the role
We're hiring an Enterprise Technical Account Manager to own the full customer lifecycle for our largest accounts - from post-sale kickoff through production deployment, steady-state operations, and expansion. You'll be the technical point of contact that enterprise security teams rely on to operationalize Cogent in their environment and get measurable outcomes from it. Own the end-to-end customer lifecycle from deployment kickoff through go-live, ongoing operations, and renewal
What they're looking for
- Domain expertise in vulnerability management - you understand CVE workflows, remediation processes, risk prioritization, and how enterprise security teams track and reduce exposure
- 3+ years in a technical, customer-facing role: Technical Account Manager, Technical CSM, Solutions Engineer, or similar
- Strong technical acumen - comfortable discussing scanning infrastructure, cloud environments, API integrations, and data pipelines with customer engineering teams
- Clear, confident communicator who builds rapport quickly and manages relationships across security engineers, IT Ops, and executive stakeholders
- Ownership mindset across the full account lifecycle: you think past deployment into adoption, retention, and growth
- Consultative approach to account management - you go deep on a focused book of business rather than spreading thin across high volume
