Areas of responsibilities include facilities operations, environmental operations, and coordinating with corporate EHS to ensure employee health, safety and emergency response. Responsibilities include hazardous & non-hazardous waste management, air quality management, and water quality management - ensuring regulatory compliance at the federal, state and city levels. Responsible for coordinating with Coherent’s corporate EHS department to ensure the safety of all personnel through effective administration of safety policies and procedures; planning, developing and delivery of safety training, and maintaining compliance with OSHA and Corporate regulations.
