What they're looking for
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or later
- Demonstrated interest in financial and capital markets, with coursework or projects involving credit analysis, financial statement interpretation, or portfolio risk concepts
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for quantitative analysis, including modeling, scenario analysis, or data summarization
- Familiarity with the crypto economy or digital assets, or a demonstrated ability to rapidly learn new financial product domains
- Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality

This is a 12-week internship during summer 2027.
Join the Credit Risk team within the Financial & Operational Risk subteam of Finance. You'll support the underwriting, monitoring, and analysis of counterparty and asset-level credit risk across Coinbase's global institutional client base. Working alongside risk professionals and product teams, you'll gain hands-on experience evaluating complex exposures in digital asset lending and trading, and your work will directly inform credit decisions and risk reporting for leadership.
