About the role
Comply is looking for a Data Platform Architect to define the architecture and integration patterns that power the next generation of our enterprise data platform. You’ll shape how data products, APIs, event streams, semantic models, analytics capabilities, and AI-native interfaces work together to deliver secure, scalable, and reusable solutions across the business. This role has a hybrid in-office and remote work schedule, requiring a minimum 3 days/week in either our Arlington, VA or New York, NY office. - Design end-to-end platform solutions that connect data pipelines, data products, the security master, semantic models, lakehouse technologies, APIs, event-driven services, AI interfaces, and analytics platforms
- Establish architectural standards for interoperability, including API design, event contracts, data exchange patterns, versioning, and access controls
- Define scalable integration patterns for customers, partners, and enterprise systems across API, streaming, batch, and self-service access channels
- Create consistent interfaces that support human users, analytics tools, applications, AI agents, MCP-compatible clients, and LLM-powered experiences
- Partner with Product, Technology, and Customer teams to ensure new initiatives align with platform architecture and long-term strategic goals
- Identify opportunities to consolidate capabilities, reduce duplication, and increase platform reuse across the organization
