About the role
Coupang’s legal team plays a critical role in driving our phenomenal growth by managing legal risks and enabling innovation. As an AI & Product Counsel, you will manage a portfolio of product reviews and act as a strategic partner to business teams. You will also function as an ambassador, championing Coupang’s leadership principles and corporate culture. This position can be based in Mountain View, CA or Seattle,WA.
What they're looking for
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and 7+ years of total legal experience, including a combination of major law firm and in-house experience
- Prior experience in product counseling or AI governance
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
- Ability to solve problems through creative thinking and partnerships with other teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and attain challenging targets through personal drive
