About the role
Develop strategic, consultative relationships with Federal stakeholders to understand their goals and seamlessly integrate Dataminr into their workflow Partner with internal teams to develop, implement, and deliver onboarding, training, and usage plans tailored for each customer

- 4-6 years of Federal sales experience, selling technology or SaaS solutions
- Experience selling large complex deals to the VA etc
- Proven track record of hitting/exceeding quota, including identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to a wide range of audiences, including technical and non-technical customers
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, problem solving in real-time

The Account Executive, FED CIV is a quota-carrying federal sales role, responsible for driving new business and expanding Dataminr footprint across the VA and other associated agencies.
Your primary focus is the VA and HHS, you will be the face of Dataminr to stakeholders, translating mission-critical needs into technology solutions while navigating the full federal acquisition lifecycle. You bring established relationships, a track record of closing multi-year federal contract awards, and the discipline to manage a complex, long-cycle pipeline.
This role will be located around the DC area.
