About the role
We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for a technically strong, customer-facing engineer who can understand complex customer operations, question requirements, design scalable solutions, and build the systems needed to deploy Didero successfully.
What they're looking for
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong backend expertise
- Strong experience building backend services using Python and/or Django (or comparable backend technologies)
- Experience designing and building integrations with external systems, APIs, enterprise software, or data pipelines
- Experience working directly with customers or cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, API design, debugging, and systems architecture
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

You will work directly with customers to understand their end-to-end procurement and operations workflows including ERP integrations, data pipelines, workflow automation, supplier communication flows, reporting, and custom deployment needs.
