About the role
Our mission is to connect constituencies to their elected representatives at all levels of government, and as a member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in delivering first-rate customer service to our many clients. You’ll have the potential to be working anywhere in the stack, from creating delightful front-end user experiences and improving upon existing and building new backend functionality and internal APIs.
What they're looking for
- Deliver excellent service to internal and external stakeholders who include officials of both parties in their official capacity
- Escalate bugs to the engineering team and track progress within Jira
- Fix technical problems that front-line support cannot like troubleshooting printer issues, investigating email problems, and performing back-end data updates for clients, among others
- Monitor production systems for problems
- Learn how to debug websites and email newsletters using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Discover the fundamentals of SQL queries and level up your SQL skills

About The Position

You’ll have the potential to be working anywhere in the stack, from creating delightful front-end user experiences and improving upon existing and building new backend functionality and internal APIs. This position supports delivery of projects end-to-end under the guidance and support of experienced team members.
Your specific mission is to help our front-line support team solve technical client issues, providing timely solutions and escalating problems to the full development team. You should feel comfortable handling tickets, learning about new software, and communicating with both our support and development teams. You will also be instrumental in helping set up and maintain our production servers.
