- Specimen Acceptance:
Receive and record delivery of patient samples.
- Unpack and verify contents and condition of received samples.
- Sign off on all received specimens; ensure logs match specimens received.
- Address any issues in the instance there are missing paperwork, discrepancies between the specimen and paperwork or if any additional paperwork is needed.
- Specimen Accessioning:
Perform data entry into the FMI Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System including labeling specific computer-generated identification numbers to each sample.
