The Mechanical and Industrial Engineering department seeks a new full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor Mechanical Engineering - Aerospace . Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate engineering courses and labs, engaging in professional development activities, and providing services to the department and the university. The department is seeking candidates with the ability to teach in at least one core area of mechanical engineering. In addition, special consideration will be given to candidates with demonstrated ability and interest to develop and teach aerospace-focused courses in any combination of areas, including but not limited to Aerodynamics, Aerospace Propulsion, Flight Dynamics and Control, Space Systems, and Aerospace Structures.
