- PhD earned by August 25, 2027, from a school/college accredited by the AACSB or similar accrediting body with a curricular emphasis in the field of Accounting or a closely related field
- Instructor of record for at least one semester teaching Accounting or a closely related field in-person in higher education
- At least one peer-reviewed journal article published as evidence of quality scholarship
- At least two semesters serving as instructor of record teaching Accounting in-person and/or online at the university level
- Experience with using a variety of teaching methods in a higher-education classroom

The school is seeking individuals who will provide excellent undergraduate instruction, incorporate current techniques in teaching and research, and work collaboratively to strengthen the school’s business programs.

- Provide quality teaching and advise students within the School of Business and Economics (SBE), perform service work to the SBE and university, and engage in scholarly activities.
- Teach courses primarily on campus (potential for online in the future) for the Accounting major, as well as other business courses as needed.
- Demonstrate commitment to building community among students and faculty within SBE and the university.
- Complete required trainings and professional development as assigned.
