About the role
The Credit Strategy and Decisioning Manager will manage execution and delivery of GoodLeap’s underwriting policy and procedures. This role manages policy configuration content within the decision platform, monitors and enhances GoodLeap execution processes, and communicates feedback on quality checks and controls regularly to the leadership.
What they're looking for
- Exceptional attention to detail and focus on engineering quality processes, with the ability to trace details and catch discrepancies before they reach production
- Skilled at building and maintaining monitoring dashboards and translating performance data into clear, actionable insights for leadership
- Experience using with software such as SQL, Python, Databricks, Tableau, Claude/ChatGPT
- Deep understanding of credit and underwriting policy and how configuration choices translate into borrower outcomes and portfolio risk
- Strong sense of ownership over outcomes — from policy configuration through to portfolio performance with minimal need for oversight
- High integrity and sound judgment — comfortable escalating and surfacing blind spots for leadership rather than smoothing them over
