The Senior Environmental Health and Safety Specialist is responsible for implementing Guardant Health policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field required, Master's degree preferred
- 5-8+ years of Environmental Health & Safety experience, preferably in biotechnology, life sciences, healthcare, laboratory, or other regulated environments
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, Cal/OSHA, hazardous waste, and other applicable environmental and occupational safety regulations
- Experience supporting compliance audits, inspections, incident investigations, and regulatory reporting
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and exercise sound judgment in resolving EHS-related issues
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
