About the role
We’re looking for an M&A Analyst to power the analysis behind every brokerage Gyde evaluates, acquires, and closes. Found on 1752vc Careers, the job board for startup and VC roles.
What they're looking for
- 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, transaction advisory / Quality of Earnings, or strategy consulting
- Strong command of accounting and financial statements, and the ability to build a three-statement or deal model from a blank spreadsheet
- Command of the mechanics: EBITDA normalization, addbacks, valuation multiples, debt and equity financing, and returns analysis (MoM and IRR)
- Exposure to insurance distribution, brokerage, or healthcare services preferred, familiarity with commission-based revenue models a plus
- A practical, daily user of AI tools who knows how to get reliable output from them while retaining human judgement
- Meticulous attention to detail, your numbers tie, your sources are cited, and your assumptions are labeled
