About the role
The Robotics Software Engineer connects each vehicle-specific control interface to the Hive robotics platform. This person ensures that the complete robotics software stack operates reliably on the physical machine. What they're looking for
- 5+ years of experience developing or integrating software for robotics, autonomous vehicles, or complex physical systems
- Strong C++ and Python development skills
- Strong Linux development and debugging experience
- Experience with robotics middleware such as ROS 2, DDS, or equivalent systems
- Experience developing drivers and interfaces for sensors, actuators, and embedded controllers
- Understanding of networking, time synchronization, coordinate frames, calibration, and telemetry
