About the role
The IT Procurement Lead establishes and executes sourcing and supplier strategies for enterprise technology products and services. You will lead complex procurement initiatives and help ensure technology investments align with business priorities, IT strategy, risk requirements, and long-term value objectives.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, technology, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience
- Eight or more years of progressive experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, supplier management, or a closely related field
- Demonstrated experience sourcing, negotiating, or managing healthcare technology solutions, or comparable complex technology in a highly regulated industry
- Strong understanding of category management, strategic sourcing, supplier evaluation, negotiation, contracting, and supplier relationship management
- Ability to understand and incorporate business, clinical, regulatory, privacy, security, data, and integration considerations into sourcing decisions
- Demonstrated ability to advise and influence senior business and technology leaders, translate business requirements into sourcing strategies, and navigate competing stakeholder priorities

They develop category strategies, manage sourcing activity, strengthen supplier performance, and improve visibility into technology spend and contractual commitments. The team delivers value through competitive sourcing, demand management, commercial optimization, risk mitigation, supplier consolidation, and effective contract lifecycle management.
