The Billing Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end billing process across multiple departments, ensuring invoices are accurate and timely while supporting the Controller with day-to-day accounts receivable operations.
- Prepare, review, and issue accurate customer invoices in accordance with contract terms and company policy for multiple departments
- Process billing adjustments, credits, and corrections as needed
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances providing status commentary
- Reconcile billing records against contracts, purchase orders, and sales agreements
- Respond to internal and external billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Support month-end close by preparing billing reports and reconciliations
- Maintain accurate customer and billing records within the accounting/ERP system (NetSuite) and CRM (Salesforce)
- Assist with audits by providing billing documentation and support
- Identify and recommend process improvements to increase billing accuracy and efficiency
